Mike Stopforth has done the yeoman’s work of starting a Wikipedia entry on Enterprise 2.0. Even though I just posted about how the barriers to contribution with wikis are vanishingly low, I still think of this as a milestone. I hope it survives and grows; Wikipedia’s Web 2.0 entry is an extensive and helpful one, so why shouldn’t the Enterprise 2.0 one be?
I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to contribute to it (that might be too much of a vanity project) but I hope others do, and that it becomes what so many good Wikipedia entries are — a dynamic source of solid information and a clearinghouse for external references. Please help it get there!

Dear Andrew,
Don’t think you should contribute for the coming weeks. Let the structure at the page emerge and then you might want to contribute by helping filling in the details.
I just edited the page with an initial structure for the page to guide future edits.
Keep up the good work!
Jochem
Ironically enough, my primary motivation for setting up the entry is to solidify the concept in my own mind, and explore whether or not it can stand alone from Web 2.0.
Considering that, your vanity is expected!
As of now (Aug 16, 4pm Eastern time) the Wikipedia article is still in “deleted” status.
