The Second Machine Age Tour Comes to Boston on Monday, February 3

Brynjolfsson, McAfee, Chakrabarti

Erik B. and I are on the West Coast this week promoting The Second Machine Age, and are coming back home to Boston next Monday.

Even if you don’t like our book, books in general, or either of us you should still be interested because we’re sitting down the awesome Meghna Chakrabarti. Twice, in fact.

We’ll be her guests on Radio Boston (cohosted by Anthony Brooks) between 3 and 4 pm on Monday, then we’re on stage with her at Harvard Square’s wonderful Brattle Theater (where I’ve spent many evenings watching, among other things, Bugs Bunny cartoon festivals) at 6 pm, thanks in large part to WBUR and the Harvard Book Store (where I’ve also spent a lot of time). Tickets (they’re cheap) are available here.

If you’re in the area and interested in robots, AI, and self-driving cars and/or what these brilliant technologies mean for wages, jobs, and the economy and society, please tune in and come by. We’ll be talking with the audience and doing a book signing afterward, and would love to see you there.
